Behind the Name

Hello, my name is Ericka and I am the owner of Paper Rings Weddings. I coordinated my first wedding kind of by accident. A close friend of mine had just gotten engaged and as a former bride, I was inclined to ask if she had yet to hire a day-of coordinator. I knew this was an integral part of the process, and I really wanted to make sure my friend was taken care of. She said she did not have a coordinator and then quickly asked, “do you want to do it?” I was shocked by the question and said yes without truly knowing what I committed to. Long story short, I fell in love with wedding coordinating and realized that I might have a gift. The name Paper Rings Weddings was inspired by a Taylor Swift song that I love. Specifically the lyrics, “I like shiny things, but I’d marry you with paper rings.” When you think about the person you are choosing to spend the rest of your life with, I hope you know that the only thing that matters is you and them saying “I do” at the altar.
